Cyprus
After bidding a reluctant farewell to Jordan we flew to Cyprus late Sunday afternoon (23 April) and have now been here in Cyprus almost 2 weeks. The time has flown so quickly!! We stayed overnight in Larnaca at a very nice little hotel on the beachfront and then caught the intercity bus to Paphos the following morning. Our bus trip was not without drama - we were dropped off at an entirely different location in Limassol from that indicated on the timetable and had to find the location point for our connecting bus to Paphos. Having found the right place and hopped on the bus we had only been travelling for about 20 minutes when we came to a bumping halt. After lots of furious phone calls by a very agitated bus driver the problem was solved - we were simply out of diesel, so after an hour's wait a tanker pulled up, refuelled the bus and we were soon on our way again.
